The laboratory of toxicology of GRUPO INTERLAB participates, as specialised laboratory in the characterisation of industrial waste, in a great ring-test performed at the European level to assess a battery of aquatic and terrestrial bioassays to determine the ecotoxicological characteristics of waste (hazard code H14).

This study, promoted by the German Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt) in collaboration with CEN, the Joint Research Centre of the EC, DIN and BAM Institute, brings together over 50 laboratories from industry, public administration, universities and other research institutions of the whole European continent.

The kick-off workshop was held in Berlin the past 20th and 21st of September.
